We operate the largest online marketplace for the sale-purchase of Salvage vehicles.

We provide a feature-rich, web-based, automated platform for auction of a wide variety of Salvage vehicles. The buyers using our platform services also benefit from our detailed inspection report,and much more.

We have relationships with several large consumer auctions, banks, leasing companies, and insurance companies which approach us for listing their vehicles on our platform.

One can find virtually all kinds of vehicles on our platform: 4 wheelers (including passenger cars), 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, and so on.

Anyone can buy cars by registering for the platform. Registration requires appropriate KYC documents and a registration fee.

Bidding / Auctions

A dealer can bid in an auction through website (https:/bumperbid.in) or our mobile app.

Open Auction –In open auctions (where bids are visible), a buyer can put an unlimited number of bids.

Closed Auction –In close auctions (where bids are not visible) a dealer can put a pre-defined number of bids (e.g. 20, 30, etc.) for each vehicle.

Each and every vehicle coming through consumer auctions will be thoroughly pre-inspected by Bumperbid. The inspection report shall be available along with the listing of the vehicle on the auction platform.

Each vehicle (whether sourced from consumer auctions, insurance companies, bank, or leasing companies) listed on the platform will have a minimum of 10 pictures capturing the vehicle exterior and interior details.

Highest bids for each vehicle are binding.

The transaction fee in case of bank and insurance auctions will be communicated on a case to case basis. However, in the absence of any explicit communication in case of bank auctions, a transaction fee of 2.5% of the transaction value will be charged.

Yes, Dealers can coordinate with respective auction executives to inspect the vehicle before bidding. We believe in delivering a great experience to the pre-owned vehicle dealers without going into the hassle of physically seeing a vehicle. Possibility of physical inspection will vary from vehicle to vehicle and the same would be communicated to the buyer. Please do note that all Bumperbid inspected vehicles will be covered by Bumperbid guarantee program.

Bids once placed cannot be cancelled.

Post Auctions FAQ's

Approval time differs from seller to seller. Usually we expect a seller to revert in 7-15 working days. In Exception scenarios, it can extend upto 60 days as well.

Highest bids on the platform for each and every vehicle is communicated to the seller. Seller approves these vehicles post analysing the bids from all the channels. Some vehicles may be pre-approved, i.e., they will not require an approval and will be sold directly at the highest bids.

Post vehicle approval and payment in full, Bumperbid Auctions team will apprise the buyer of the location from where the vehicle can be lifted.

Form 28, Form 29, Form 30, Form35 (2 copies each), NOC, address proof and id proof and all the other documents required for smooth and hassle-free vehicle transfer process.

The entire buyer security deposit would be forfeited.
